Veterans Memorial Walkway

The bricks that line the Memorial walkways commemorate all United States veterans.

Each brick has a story.

The dates on the bricks reflect the dates of service. If there is no ending date that person is still serving. Two stars signify the person was killed in action. One star denotes missing in action.

There are four bricks located near the Visitors Center entrance placed to honor the founders, the Westphall Family.

Included in the walkway are seventeen bricks for the members of Bravo Company who died as a result of the ambush at Con Thien on May 22, 1968.

New bricks are added every year on the Saturday before Labor Day when volunteers from Run for the Wall Reunion devote an entire Saturday to the project. To order or dedicate a brick, please click the link to the right. Or you may call our office at 575-377-6900.
